With the approval of the Competent Authority, STRIDE is organizing a UGC Approved Refresher Programme on ‘NEP 2020: Research Methodology and Statistics for Academic Research Quality’ from 20 March, 2023- 1 April, 2023, Saturday and Sunday included (12 days, 30th March 2023 holiday -Rama Navmi).
This Refresher programme is proposed for those teachers and academics who require to do a refresher for CAS purposes as also for those who are interested in upgrading their knowledge and skills on various aspects associated with research methodology and statistics for academic research quality. The objectives of the Refresher Programme to:
Ø Expose the faculty to the essential necessity ( need and relevance) of data analysis in research methodology;
Ø Analyse the statistical techniques used for research;
Ø Train the participants in the use of appropriate modes of analyzing quantitative data and qualitative data.
Ø Train the participants in the use of appropriate modes of analyzing quantitative data and qualitative data.
Ø Develop skills to prepare a research publications for publications; and
Ø Obtain skills for using statistics effectively for research.
The programme is coordinated by Prof. Amiteshwar Ratra (amiteshwar@ignou.ac.in) and Dr. Ram Chandra (ramchandraignou@ignou.ac.in) from STRIDE.
